We are a general law firm with offices in Melbourne and Sydney CBD, and we are now inviting applications for a full-time PLT position at our Sydney office.
Position Summary:
- Conducting legal research and making enquiries with relevant parties/departments etc;
- Reviewing and drafting legal documents;
- Preparing summaries, reports, and proposals;
- Corresponding and liaising with clients and other relevant parties;
- Taking instructions from supervisors while applying own judgment to propose solutions to day-to-day issues;
- Managing legal documents and maintaining proper filing;
- Performing other tasks as required, which may include simple accounting, administrative, or receptionist duties.

We are looking for candidates who are responsible, quick to learn, honest, hardworking, and comfortable working in a team. In particular, we would like to see in our candidates:
- Ability to work independently and accomplish assigned tasks;
- Initiative to take on new assignments or propose ideas;
- Strong file management and record-keeping skills;
- Attention to detail while maintaining efficiency;
- Quick understanding of procedures and legal situations;
- Problem-solving and instructions-taking skills;
- Drafting and oral presentation skills;
- Chinese language skills (including reading and writing Chinese, and speaking Mandarin and/or Cantonese or other Chinese dialects) are highly desirable.
