We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PLT to join our growing team and gain practical legal experience in a supportive and professional environment.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a law student undertaking Practical Legal Training (PLT) to gain hands-on experience in migration law and legal practice.

You will work closely with our lawyers and migration professionals, assisting with client matters, legal research, drafting, and case preparation while developing valuable practical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with visa applications and supporting documentation
• Conducting legal and migration-related research
• Drafting correspondence, submissions, and legal documents
• Preparing client files and maintaining records
• Assisting with consultations and client communications
• Liaising with government departments and external stakeholders
• Providing general administrative and legal support to the team

Requirements

• Currently undertaking or about to commence Practical Legal Training (PLT)
• Law degree completed or nearing completion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Professional attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic and commitment to client service

Highly Regarded

• Interest in Migration Law and Administrative Law
• Mandarin Chinese language skills
• Previous legal, migration, or administrative experience
