Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal

Job Description

We are seeking a conveyancing assistant/ paralegal to join our team on a casual or part-time basis.

 

About the role:

We are a Wollongong based law firm specialising in conveyancing and property law matters across NSW and ACT.

If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes, then we want to hear from you!

 

Key responsibilities:

The position will cover a vast array of duties which may include:

  • Opening and closing files
  • Reception duties, including answering phones
  • Assisting the Principal Solicitor and other employed staff with the day to day running of conveyancing and property law files
  • Liaise with a broad range of stakeholders including banks, financial institutions, private lenders, real estate agents, and caveators to ensure the timely progression and settlement of matters
  • Providing general administrative support
  • Drafting office template documents

  

We’re looking for a person with:

  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on building strong client relationships
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Previous experience working in a law firm, especially with triconvey and PEXA will be highly regarded
  • The ability to work independently
