We presently have an opportunity available for a Paralegal wishing to complete their PACE or Practical Legal Training Placement, or for casual work and gain valuable industry experience.
Your duties will include:
Assisting our lawyers with various legal matters; Legal research and analysis; Drafting legal advice, correspondence, affidavits, and court documents; Reviewing documents; Client intake; File management; Utilising the LEAP software; and Various general administrative work.
Essential Criteria:
Completing a law degree or have completed/ close to completing the College of Law program, or its equivalent. We will also consider Paralegals or Administrative Assistants. Excellent written and communication skills; Strong ability to follow instructions; Strong analytical and research skills Ability to work independently and in teams; Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines; Strong organisational, matter management and time management skills; and Committed to learning and playing a valuable role within our law practice.
