Junior Lawyer - Property, Wills and Estates

We are a boutique legal practice servicing the Canterbury Bankstown area. We provide high quality legal services in property, commercial law, family law, criminal law and immigration. We are a tight group of lawyers who aim to deliver compassionate advice and assistance to clients. 

We are looking to hire a Junior Property Lawyer who is capable of handing files relating to wills and estates. The successful candidate will present with a strong administrational background and highly developed social, interpersonal & customer service skills, which are paramount in our high-end, service based, working environment. They will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, flexibility and possess a strong work ethic, as well as a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards clients and colleagues. 

Applicants must possess sound conveyancing experience with the ability to run matters independently. Ideal candidate will have industry experience with a professional and polite manner.

The ability to learn, work hard and adapt is key.

Description

We are looking for someone with experience in the following areas:

• Reviewing Contracts for the Sale and Purchase of Land. Interstate conveyancing experience is a bonus
• Liaising with other solicitors and conveyancers negotiating amendments to Contracts.
• Liaising with clients advising on Contracts.
• Liaising with various stakeholders including Real Estate Agents, Banks and Financial Institutions
• Preparation of documentation.
• Off the plan conveyancing transactions and unregistered dealings;
• Experience with Leap or Smokeball.
• Operating matters in PEXA. 
• Report direct to our principal.

• Experience in NSW conveyancing procedures
