Solicitor

Lin Tang & Co Lawyers have offices in Sydney CBD and Beijing. We are looking for someone who is specialise in migration, property, and conveyancing, however, you will also be exposed a broad mix of interesting matters ranging from debt recovery, civil litigation, family law and dispute resolution. You will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners, in a firm which is an OMARA-approved CPD provider.

Our client-base consists mainly of corporate clients and high-net worth individuals. We focus on foreign (mostly Chinese) investment in Australia, and therefore practice extensively in:

• Commercial and corporate law.
• Immigration law: Business, Skilled Migration, and Work visas.
• Conveyancing/property law; and
• Family law.

This position will suit a driven and competent lawyer with strong community ties and interest in immigration.

In order to be successful in this role you need to:

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Have an unrestricted NSW practicing certificate.
• Be a confident user of LEAP.
• Have a proven track record in legal drafting, including correspondences, agreements, submission, pleadings, and affidavits.
• Have approximately 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in migration law and conveyancing/property law from a reputable firm.
• Have ability to multitask, prioritise and meet competing deadlines.
• Be honest, responsible, organised, and diligent.

Based on your experience, remuneration package is up to $70,000.00
