Genesis Legal Partners, a well-regarded boutique law firm in Parramatta CBD, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our general practice with a primary focus on property and family law. Our firm has experienced significant growth and represents private clients, small businesses, property developers, strata, and high-net-worth individuals across various practice areas, including family law, property, commercial, wills & estates, and commercial litigation.
This role is offered on a part-time basis, 3 days per week.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Paralegal, preferably in property or family law.
Satisfactory police check prior to commencement.
Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks efficiently under time constraints.
Strong organisational skills and a passion for client-focused legal support.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Sound computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with LEAP is a plus).
Client Liaison: Engage with clients, take instructions, and provide exceptional support.
Legal Documentation: Assist in preparing commercial contracts, leases, legal statements, affidavits, and court documentation.
Legal Research: Conduct thorough research to support cases.
Case Support: Assist solicitors with file management, court preparation, and briefing Counsel.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with firm procedures.
Work with a collaborative, close-knit team in a supportive environment.
