About the Role: We are a boutique law firm based in Sydney, primarily practising in property and commercial law. We are looking for a self-motivated and responsible Junior Solicitor who is capable of running matters independently. The successful candidate will handle a range of files including residential and commercial conveyancing, leasing, and general commercial and corporate matters. You will also be expected to manage client relationships directly and actively assist in the firm’s business development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and run legal matters independently across property and commercial law;
2. Handle end-to-end residential and commercial conveyancing, including off-the-plan transactions;
3. Draft, review and advise on contracts for sale, leases, loan agreements, shareholder agreements, and business sale contracts;
4. Provide advice on company law and structuring issues, including ASIC and company compliance;
5. Maintain direct and professional communication with clients and external parties;
6. Assist with client onboarding, communication, and long-term relationship management;
7. Keep up to date with relevant legislative and regulatory developments;
8. Contribute to business development activities and assist in expanding the firm’s client base;
9. Maintain accurate file records and ensure all legal work complies with professional obligations;

Requirements:
1. A current practising certificate in New South Wales is essential;
2. Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential;
3. Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines;
4. Client-focused, commercially minded, and proactive in solving legal and practical issues;
5. Proficiency in PEXA and LEAP is highly desirable.
