Opportunity:

We are seeking for a driven and enthusiastic Law Graduate to join our firm as part of their PLT Training.

Whilst this role is unpaid, this is an opportunity for a Law Graduate to gain real-world legal experience as you will be working alongside our team of experienced Solicitors, Conveyancers and support staff on active matters.

This program will be on a rotational basis in which you will gain hands-on experience in the following areas of law:

  • Property Law;
  • Commercial Law and
  • Estate Planning.

 

The Perfect Candidate must:

  • Be able to work and thrive in team-based environments;
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance conflicting priorities;
  • Have strong proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Be proactive and willing to support members of the team;
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to interact with clients in a professional manner;
  • Have a strong attention to detail with the ability to identify key risks.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of our solicitors, you will mainly be responsible for:
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents
  • Liaising with clients, agents, banks and other professionals to ensure that the settlement process proceeds as smoothly as possible
  • Conducting legal research and providing accurate and detailed research memos
  • Assisting with residential and commercial property transactions
