Job Description

Summary:

We’re looking for our first Senior Legal Content Specialist in the APAC region to join our rapidly growing International Legal Content team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about translating complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, practical content that supports customers operating across diverse APAC markets.

What Your Team Does:

Clio Draft helps legal professionals automate and simplify their document workflows with an extensive online library of County, State, and Federal court forms. In addition to our library of templates, forms and precedents, Clio Draft allows its customers to convert their own custom documents into fillable templates. The Clio Draft Legal Content team develops and maintains the high-quality legal content that powers these workflows by staying in close proximity to our customers to understand their drafting needs and jurisdictional requirements. Our goal is to ensure Clio Draft delivers trusted content that adds value and helps our customers draft documents faster with greater accuracy.

What You'll Work On:

  • Own Content QA/QC Processes: Establish, maintain, and execute rigorous quality control workflows for legal content creation, updates, and automation templates.
  • Review & Validate Legal Content: Conduct detailed reviews of legal templates, precedents, and workflows to ensure accuracy, formatting and desired functionality before publication.
  • Collaborate on Pipeline Improvements: Work closely with the Legal Content Automation Manager and other Legal Content stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and strengthen content quality and related processes to elevate customer experience.
  • Develop Review Standards & Checklists: Create and refine QA/QC guidelines, style guides, and best practices that ensure consistent tone, structure, and legal accuracy across all content.
  • Partner with Content Developers: Provide actionable feedback to legal content specialists, helping to identify errors, address gaps, and raise overall quality.
  • Track Quality Metrics: Use performance data to measure error rates, turnaround times, and other quality indicators, continuously optimising the review process.
  • Ensure Customer-Centric Outcomes: Evaluate content with the end-user in mind, validating that templates and workflows are intuitive, practical, and aligned with customer drafting needs and quality expectations.

What You'll Bring:

  • Legal & Content Expertise: 2-3 years of legal experience in research, drafting, or knowledge/content management roles, ideally with exposure to multiple jurisdictions.
  • Detail Orientation & QA Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with experience performing quality control, peer reviews, or compliance checks on legal or technical content.
  • Strong Understanding of Legal Drafting: Familiarity with legal drafting workflows, standard legal documents, and jurisdiction-specific practice requirements.
  • Process-Driven Mindset: Ability to follow and improve structured QA/QC processes, ensuring repeatable and reliable results.
  • Technical & Automation Familiarity: Comfort working with document automation systems and cloud-based legal technology tools.
  • Clear Communication Skills: Capable of delivering precise, constructive feedback to peers and collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Analytical Thinking: Skilled at spotting patterns, diagnosing root causes of errors, and recommending targeted improvements.
  • Adaptability & Initiative: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, proactively identifying ways to improve content quality and consistency.
  • Proactive, customer-obsessed approach, constantly seeking ways to improve how Clio delivers value through legal content.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • Support Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure high-quality content is integrated smoothly into Clio’s platform.
  • Demonstrate interest in elevating your craft using AI.
