The role

You’ll support real matters end-to-end and learn how commercial legal work is run—practically, strategically and with care.

What you’ll do

·         Legal research and short, clear issue summaries.

·         Draft first versions of correspondence, chronologies, file notes and document summaries.

·         Organise evidence, briefs and annexures; assist with court/filing packs (as appropriate).

·         Maintain matter admin: task lists, timelines and document management.

·         Professional client communication support under supervision (confidentiality is essential).

What we’re looking for

·         Currently enrolled in an Australian law degree (Sydney-based).

·         Strong writing skills, initiative and attention to detail.

·         Reliable, discreet and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.

·         Genuine interest in commercial law, disputes, insolvency and/or leasing.
