Graduate Lawyer

CMI Legal is a high rated and growing legal practice based in Chatswood that focuses on delivering the best client experience when providing legal services. We are a general practice firm with practice areas in commercial transactions, corporate advisory, property conveyancing, migration law and family law.

We are currently looking for a recent law graduate or lawyer with up to 3 years of experience to join our team as a full-time lawyer.

The position will mainly be involved in handling property conveyancing, migration and commercial matters. There are opportunities to gain exposure to intellectual property, family law or other areas if suitable.

We work in a team environment with friendly working hours (option for work from home on some days of the week). Our team is dynamic and committed to bringing value to our clients. We are founded on the ideology that we must fully understand the client’s circumstances when assessing the best solution available to the client.

This opportunity allows you to develop strong communication skills, explore diverse areas of commercial practice and learn in a facilitative environment.

The successful candidate should have the following:

•          Positive attitude towards understanding clients

•          Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to handle client correspondence including telephone and electronic communications

•          Suitable to work in a team environment

•          Be proactive and keen to learn

•          Good attention to detail

•          Time management skills and able to work efficiently

•          Genuine interest in becoming part of the practice and grow with the firm

·          Experience in property conveyancing is a plus

·          Ability to read and write Chinese is a plus but not essential
