Established in 2016, Morgan + English Commercial Lawyers is a premier boutique legal firm largely in the commercial and agribusiness space with offices in Sydney and the Upper Hunter Valley. We act for a range of clients including high net worth individuals and SMEs across the agricultural, thoroughbred, processing, and heavy industries.

The M+E Graduate Program offers an excellent start to your legal career, providing hands-on experience and high-quality work under the mentorship of senior lawyers. Over a 12-month period, you will complete two rotations, each designed to enhance your skills in legal writing, advocacy, and negotiation.

Additionally, you will engage in a tailored learning and development program that aligns with your career stage, ensuring you acquire the skills necessary for long-term success in the legal field.

About You

• You have recently completed your studies or are in your final year, due to complete by the end of 2026.
• You are eligible to complete the College of Law PLT Program (or equivalent) or have already completed PLT and are in the process of being admitted as a solicitor or recently admitted.
• You are passionate about law, specifically commercial law.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills: commercial and strategic.
• You are looking for a supportive workplace that offers leadership, guidance, and growth.
• You want exposure across various practice areas in a supportive environment.
• You enjoy solving problems and contributing to solutions.
• You thrive in an agile work environment and enjoy teamwork.

• Sunday, 5 April – Applications for graduate positions close at 11:59pm.
• Monday, 27 April – Interviews for graduate positions commence.
• Wednesday, 3 June – Offers for graduate positions will be made from 9:00am.
• Thursday, 4 June – Offers for graduate positions must be accepted or declined by 1:00pm.
• February 2027 – Graduate Program commences
