We are a dynamic boutique law firm seeking a motivated and capable Criminal / Family Lawyer with 1–3 years post-admission experience (PAE) to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly energetic and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is looking to develop their skills across both criminal and family law matters.

About the Role
You will work closely with experienced practitioners on a diverse caseload, including criminal and family law matters. The role offers hands-on exposure, client interaction, and the opportunity to take ownership of files with appropriate supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with a varied caseload in criminal and family law
• Appear in court (as appropriate to experience) and assist with advocacy preparation
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and court materials
• Liaise with clients, counsel, and external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate file management and meet deadlines

About You

• 1–3 years PAE in criminal and/or family law
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Energetic, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team
• A genuine interest in criminal and family law
