Paralegal (Part Time or Full Time role)

Shaba & Thomas Lawyers is a law firm with offices in Liverpool and Sydney CBD. Our firm provides legal services in commercial and corporate matters to an array of clients such as small to medium-sized businesses, corporate clients, financial services providers, accountants, and high net worth individuals.

We are currently looking to employ a Paralegal at our Liverpool office. The successful candidate will be working on a variety of commercial litigation matters ranging from construction disputes, tax and revenue disputes, general commercial disputes, and property disputes under the supervision of the Partners, as well as assisting the Solicitors of our firm. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake administrative tasks for the solicitors and Partners. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a growing firm and grow within the firm over time.

The Successful Candidate

To be a successful candidate you must:

  • Be in the penultimate year of your law degree.
  • Have the ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Have some experience working in a law firm.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Be organised and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Have the proven ability to meet budgets. 
  • Be proactive.
  • Have strong research skills.
