We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Law Graduate to join our team on a part-time basis.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will assist with a range of legal tasks, including conveyancing, property settlements, legal research, preparation of wills, preparing briefs for contested matters, and handling leasing and commercial transactions, including business sales. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various areas of law and develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing property settlement matters, including preparing documents, working in PEXA, processing transfer duty assessments and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct legal research to support ongoing matters and provide recommendations to Principal Lawyer.
  • Prepare wills and related estate planning documents under supervision.
  • Draft and prepare briefs for contested matters and litigation.
  • Support the preparation and review of leasing agreements and other commercial documents.
  • Assist in business sales transactions, including drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements.
  • Maintain accurate and organised files and records.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required.

Key Qualifications:

  • A recent law graduate or completing their law degree.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
