PLT Placement

Berrigan Doube Lawyers is a boutique law firm with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. We are known for our legal expertise and experience in the areas of Litigation, Business and Commercial, Banking and Finance, Owners Corporation, Employment, Property, Family and Migration

We are currently seeking a PLT student to join our team in Sydney. As a PLT student, you will be working closely with our experienced lawyers in a variety of areas, including Employment, Property and Business/Commercial Law but principally in an employment law capacity.

Duties include:

• Legal research;
• Drafting articles;
• Drafting legal documents and correspondence;
• Attending Court and Commissions;
• Filing Court documents;
• Liaising with clients;
• General administrative duties, and
• File management.

The successful candidates will possess:

• A keen interest in Employment Law;
• Strong legal research and analytical skills;
• Excellent organisational skills; and
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ideally the candidate is available a minimum of 3 days per week between 9am to 5:30 pm.
