We are currently seeking a passionate and energetic junior solicitor with at least 1 - 2 years PAE to join our growing Commercial / Corporate team.
Specifically, you will be advising/negotiating/resolving disputes relating to:
· Disputes (approx. 70%)- eg advising on debt recovery for the commercial clients, Fair work compliance issues as well as shareholders disputes from time to time;
· Insolvency (approx.10%) – working with liquidators on claims such as insolvent trading claims, preference payment claims etc; and
Compliance (approx. 20%) - you would be involved in setting up the compliance procedure for education institutions as well as on-going monitoring of compliance work conducted over time
Please note that this is a bilingual environment, and we require solicitors that can speak and write fluent mandarin.
