Program Manager, Centre for Legal Innovation (CLI)-Full Time, Permanent (Sydney or Brisbane)

Location: Sydney or Brisbane

Purpose of the Role

The Program Manager is the operational backbone of the Centre for Legal Innovation. Reporting to the Director, this role ensures continuity, delivery, and oversight of CLI programs and activities. It is responsible for turning strategy into action, coordinating projects and events, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring seamless collaboration across the College.

Accountabilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of CLI programs and initiatives(eg. Roundtables, Summit, workshops, research projects). 
• Manage operational reporting and resource allocation across projects.
• Ensure alignment of CLI activities with the College’s programs and strategic goals.
• Oversee delivery logistics for events, webinars, podcasts, and publications.
• Support stakeholder engagement, ensuring follow-up and sustained relationships.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to CLI staff and contractors.
• Act as deputy for the Director when required.

Education/Qualification

Tertiary qualifications in law, business, project management, or related discipline.

Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Strong background in program or project management in professional services, legal, or education environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple concurrent projects.
• Event planning and delivery experience, including online and in-person events.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across functions.
