Job Description

Sussex Legal is a small law firm specialising in Estate Law located in Guildford WA. We are looking for a law student or recent graduate to join our team as a solicitor or Law Clerk. Work undertaken may count towards Practical Legal Training hours.

You will be mentored by a solicitor and your duties will include:

  • Assisting with estate planning documents, affidavits and court documents;
  • Assisting with correspondence;
  • Various administrative duties; and
  • Attending court.

Selection Criteria

Essential

  • Ability to work under the supervision of legal practitioners;
  • Dressing neatly;
  • polite and respectful manners;
  • familiarity with microsoft office; and
  • Available to work flexible hours and days.

Preferred

  • Interest in estate law.
