Our principal lawyer has a strong reputation in the startup and construction law space, having previously served as Legal Practice Director at Lawpath Legal and as a panel lawyer for the Master Builders Association. This role provides a rare opportunity to work closely with an experienced practitioner on matters that genuinely shape businesses and disputes.

Role Description

We are seeking a Graduate-at-Law to complete their vocational work experience on a part-time or full-time basis. This role offers hands-on involvement in high-quality legal work, including assisting the principal lawyer with capital raising, corporate structuring and bespoke commercial contract drafting, as well as working on complex litigation matters. You will be trusted with real responsibility early and will play an active role in matters that are challenging, fast-moving and strategically significant.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a commercially savvy law student or graduate eager to develop under the guidance of an experienced solicitor. Your roles and responsibilities will not be routine and are generalist in nature that includes:

• conducting legal research
• drafting research memorandums
• drafting letters of advice and correspondences
• drafting legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits and legal submissions
• bespoke contract drafting
• general administrative work such as answering telephone calls, taking enquires and participating in team meetings regarding the operations, strategy, business plan and marketing of the firm.

You will need excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex legal and commercial issues with confidence.
