Position: PLT Student / Paralegal (Volunteer)
Location: Sydney CBD (hybrid may be available)

Commitment: Flexible (e.g. 2–3 days per week, subject to PLT requirements)

Wentworth Lawyers & Partners is a Sydney-based law firm advising corporate and individual clients, with a strong focus on practical outcomes and clear client communication.
We are seeking a motivated PLT student for a volunteer placement to support our team with legal research, drafting and file work. The placement offers hands-on exposure to active matters with supervision and mentoring.
Legal research and short research memoranda
Drafting correspondence (letters/emails) and file notes
Assisting with court/tribunal documents and evidence preparation
Document review, summaries, chronologies and indexes
Contract/document proofreading and formatting
General file administration and matter support
Depending on workflow, exposure may include:
Commercial and corporate
Employment law
Litigation/dispute resolution
Property and leasing
Immigration and administrative review
Enrolled in (or eligible for) a PLT placement
Strong written English and attention to detail
Professional, reliable, and proactive
Comfortable with Microsoft Word and PDF document handling
Second language skills are desirable but not essential
Supervised volunteer PLT placement aligned with PLT requirements
Mentoring and feedback on drafting and practical legal skills
Exposure to real client matters and legal practice processes
Reference/endorsement upon satisfactory completion (performance-based)
