Role

You will be joining one of our partners’ core teams, led by an experienced practitioner in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Working closely with the team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to active matters while gaining valuable, hands-on experience.

All work will be allocated and supervised by senior solicitors, providing you with structured guidance and the opportunity to develop essential skills, including:

  1. effective legal communication;
  2. time and file management;
  3. drafting and preparing court documents; 
  4. practical legal skills.

This is an unpaid PLT placement, however discretionary allowances may be considered based on performance and contribution.

Requirements

You must be self-disciplined, demonstrate strong time management and initiative, be a fast learner committed to long-term development, show resilience and consistency, work collaboratively within a team, and maintain a professional manner in all interactions.

Working Hours

A minimum commitment of two (2) days per week is required.

Placement tasks will be allocated within standard office hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM), with the actual allocation varying according to matters and supervision availability.
