About the Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a current or recently graduated College of Law student who is motivated, reliable, and eager to gain hands-on legal experience in a supportive law firm environment.

Whether you’ve already completed initial placements or are looking for your first experience in a legal practice, this role offers valuable exposure to a broad range of legal matters.

This is a paid placement, with the potential to develop into a longer-term or permanent position based on performance and the needs of the firm.

What the Role Involves

Your duties will include:

• Drafting correspondence and legal documents
• Assisting in litigation and estate matters
• Assisting in conveyancing and leasing matters
• Reviewing and drafting contracts, deeds, and other legal documents
• Preparing wills, powers of attorney, and court documents
• Drafting costs agreements and disclosures
• Document and file management
• Lodging documents at relevant governmental authorities
• General office duties supporting solicitors and conveyancer including answering phone calls
