Graduate/Lawyer | Employment & Industrial Relations | Sydney

Turks are looking for a capable Lawyer (0-3 PQE) to join our high performing and successful Employers Liability team in Sydney.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Partners, associates and clients.

Responsibilities
You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• working on a diverse range of complex employment, workers compensation and work injury damages matters;
• conducting effective legal research to support accurate and practical advice;
• engaging directly with clients and building strong professional relationships; and
• appearing in courts and tribunals, including preparing submissions and advocacy work.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have:

• an academic qualification in law, and admission as a legal practitioner with a current NSW practising certificate;
• 0-3 years' PQE with experience in employment law, workers compensation/work injury damages or related matters;
• demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex claims; and 
• excellent analytical, drafting and communication (verbal and written) skills, with superior attention to detail.

In addition, you will:

• be an enthusiastic and personable lawyer who has a passion for client service;
• have the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, as well as autonomously; and
• have a desire for personal development.
