Solicitor (Commission-Based)

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Solicitor to join our growing team on a commission-based remuneration structure. This role is ideal for a solicitor who is confident in managing client matters, developing their own client base and building a successful legal practice with the support of an established firm.

The successful candidate will enjoy flexibility and autonomy while having access to the firm's resources, administrative support and professional network.

Fluency in both English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing files across criminal, commercial, property and family law matters;
• Providing legal advice and representation to clients;
• Attending court appearances, mediations and client conferences;
• Drafting legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, affidavits and contracts;
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships;
• Developing new business opportunities and growing your client base; and
• Working collaboratively with the firm's team to deliver outstanding client service.

Requirements

• Admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales with a current practising certificate;
• Fluent in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese (essential);
• Willing to work on a commission-based remuneration structure;
• Strong advocacy, drafting and client management skills;
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Self-motivated, professional and commercially minded; and
• A strong commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
