Commercial, Injury & Family Lawyers
Feb 03, 2020Contract
If you are an older new graduate lawyer who has completed PLT, has a previous area of expertise, are able to source and manage your own client base, and are looking for a flexible, practical, performance-based opportunity, we may be a good fit for you. Our solicitors have backgrounds in other professional areas, are members of diverse communities, are able to network within those circles to develop business, work from home or remote locations, and are remunerated on a performance basis. They are supported by the latest technology, office locations around Australia, and peers with knowledge of most areas of law to assist where needed. As a new graduate lawyer, you will work with the Principal to develop your chosen area of expertise. You will source your own work, and be supervised in the delivery of services to clients to the point you are able to run matters on your own, but still have assistance and advice when needed. Our vision is to get you operational as quickly as possible so you can practice law to a professional and commercial standard. We appreciate that takes work on both our parts but anticipate you will be a quick learner. Employment can be on a part, full-time, or contract basis, with remuneration based on the work produced by you. We don’t keep count of your hours worked, we don’t need to see you in the office at 9, but we do expect you to be productive. This role is not suitable to a new graduate without strong networking abilities and existing ties into community. If you are not skilled in another area with strong business acumen, or do not know how to source work, please do not apply as you will not fit our model.
